Apart from a short trip to Abruzzo which I made in August 1989 and another during the same year in December to Istanbul, both with an old off-road Land Rover 88, and another in airplane and bus in December 1991 up to the Scottish Highlands, all my trips have been done on my motorcycle.
I started with a short vacation at the age of 16 in Valle d’Aosta. A few visits to Germany followed,until when ,at 19 years of age, I started the season of the real trips with my ascent to the North Cape. For the kind of motorcycle that I used during that trip, and for the difficulties encountered, I can say that along with the equally hard trip of 1992 in which I went to Iceland with the motorcycle that I have now, these experiences have contributed to shaping my character.


Some of my personal dreams, regarding motorcycle trips, are the completion of the Silk Road from Uzbekistan up to Pekin, the journey from North to South of all of Africa, the United States in length and width, Mexico, the Andes and Patagonia, Australia, India, Tibet..etc….I’d even like to go back to Iceland.
